Advance Turning & Manufacturing has announced the purchase of Scott Machine. This acquisition provides Advance Turning with its fourth manufacturing facility.
The current management of Scott Machine will remain and continue to produce the high quality products the company has been known for. The Company will operate as Scott Machine, a division of Advance Turning & Manufacturing. The addition will allow Advance Turning to further expand its array of services. Scott Machine was started in 1946 by the Scott family and is highly regarded for excellence in machining services provided to a wide range of customers in the aerospace, medical equipment and material handling robotics industries.
Scott Machine is located immediately adjacent to Advance Turning’s corporate headquarters on Morrill Road in Jackson, Michigan..

OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM
I graduated from high school in 1978 and joined Scott Machine in February 1979. I received a degree in Arts and Applied Science from Jackson Community College (now knows as Jackson College). I continued my education and completed my machinist apprenticeship in the early 1980s. Over the course of my career, I have held many different roles including machinist, engineering/programming, supervisor, quoting and manager. For 16 years, I served as president of Scott Machine. Currently I am Vice President of Scott Machine working alongside our Advance Turning and Manufacturing leadership team.
